The Tenth Annual Conference of the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (AMTE) will be held in Tampa , Florida , from Friday, January 27, through Saturday, January 28, 2006. Conference activities will begin with a Pre-conference Symposium on Thursday evening, January 26, 2006.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The conference registration fee includes admission to all sessions and the Browsing Room. In addition, a large portion of the fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon snack on Friday and continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday. With your conference registration, you can renew your membership in AMTE by paying the $45 dues ($22.50 for students). The table found on the Conference Registration Form details the categories of registration. Notice that registration costs vary by postmark date, total registration is limited to 400 participants and there will be no on-site registration available , so we encourage you to register early.
HOTEL RESERVATION INFORMATION
Update
The block of rooms at the Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza reserved for AMTE Conference participants is now full. We have obtained a block of rooms at the Marriott Tampa Westshore for our conference attendees at a rate of $159 per night.
Call 800-564-3489 to make a reservation; please identify yourself as attending the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators Conference. Note that the cutoff date for reservations is Thursday, January 5, 2006 or until the room block is filled.
The Marriott Tampa Westshore is near the Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza, where conference sessions are located. We are working on establishing shuttle service between the two hotels; we'll inform you of those details when finalized.
